Who Am I?

Greetings, I go by the name DJ NET, specializing in realtime live mixing as a DJ. You might wonder, what sets a Live Mixing DJ apart from a Radio DJ? The key distinction lies in the seamless flow I create between tracks—no gaps, perfectly in beat and in key. Unlike a Radio DJ, I maintain a continuous mix without interruptions, offering a nightclub-like experience where one track seamlessly transitions into the next. If you've ever been to a real nightclub, chances are you've encountered live mixing DJs. To grasp the concept better, take a moment to listen to recordings of my previous live sets performed in front of real live audiences. If you enjoy high-energy, get-up-and-go music, there's a good chance you'll appreciate my live sets or recordings of my past live mixes. These mixes are spontaneous, on-the-fly performances with no predetermined playlist. I select new tracks as I go, akin to a musical pick 'n' mix. There's no practice beforehand, and no post-performance editing—I present these mixes exactly as my audience hears them. I frequently stream live, giving you the opportunity to tune in and experience the show in real time or listen to the recording later on.

What I Do

I venture into various music genres, embracing a genre-fluid approach to my mixing. My repertoire includes House Music, Techno, Tech-House, Trance, EDM, and other Electro genres, spanning the decades from the 1960s to current hits. I'm versed in 1970s, 1980s (My Era), 1990s, 2000s, Rock, Classic Rock, Disco, Nu-Disco, Eurodance, Funk, Pop, R&B, Drum & Bass, and more. If it's mixable, it's fair game for me. My mixing arsenal comprises legally licensed software, including VirtualDJ, RekordBox, Sound Tool, and other cutting-edge applications. I stay current with up-to-date hardware, featuring a Panasonic XDJ-RX3 DJ Controller/Mixer (refer to the photos), a dedicated Dell Precision Laptop with 32GB RAM, Sennheiser HD25 Headphones, Pioneer DJ Monitoring Speakers, and additional equipment. While my typical sets run for two hours, I occasionally extend to four hours or more, infusing a TomorrowLand vibe into many of my sessions. Keep an eye out for unscheduled pop-up sets when I'm not occupied with real-life work-related activities.
